Kaleidoscope • Jenny Artichoke

British psych gods Kaleidoscope released this catchy little psych song in 1968. One of my favourites by them.

Chris Farlowe & The Thunderbirds • Buzz With The Fuzz

Chris Farlowe is best known for his cover on The Stones' song 'Out Of Time'. However, his last 45 (with backing band The Thunderbirds) on Columbia, before switching to Immediate, Buzz With The Fuzz, is my personal favourite. The 45 was quickly withdrawn by Columbia when they realised the title and lyrics actually was about drugs.

Charlie Watts: 70 Years Today

So, today it's time for another Rolling Stone to become one year older. Charlie Watts, my favourite Rolling Stones member, turns 70 today.

... and let's also celebrate with the Stones debut 45.

Happy Birthday!

The Move on French Tv, early 1967

Just had to share these two amazing early Move clips of them performing "Night Of Fear" and "I Can Hear The Grass Grow" on French Tv in early 1967.

60's Pop Duos Part 5: State Of Micky & Tommy

Okay, so the final part of my "60's Pop Duos" series have arrived. Now we're going to talk about the State Of Micky & Tommy, a little duo consisting of Tommy Brown & Micky Jones (Later of Foreigner; even if this is 200 times better that anything Foreigner ever recorded). These two guys earlier worked as session musicians for French musicians like Johnny Hallyday and Francoise Hardy, and now decided to record some singles.

Ron Wood: 64 Years Today

Ron Wood, member of Faces, Rolling Stones and of course one of my favourites, The Birds, turns 64 today. So let's celebrate with some cool Birds pictures...

... and my favourite two Birds songs.

That's nice!
